The second match of the Women’s T20 Challenge will take place between Velocity and the Smriti Mandhana led Trailblazers at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Thursday. The match will take place during the noon time as the evening will feature another thrilling IPL Qualifier 1 encounter between the Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals with the chance for the winner to get in straight into the finals of the IPL 2020.
The round- robin format of the tournament would mean that the three teams- Supernovas, Velocity and Trailblazers will each other once and the top two teams will play each other at the finals.
The previous encounter between the two sides saw the velocity come on top by 3 wickets. The Trailblazers were put to bat first by the Velocity and the excellent bowling of the Velocity made sure the Trailblazers were bundled out for a below score of 112. The velocity with the help of their key players Danielle Wyatt and Shafali Verma managed to chase down the score with 3 wickets in hand.
