His hard hitting helped Royal Challengers Bangalore reach a mammoth score of 263 against Pune Warriors. Royal Challengers bangalore ended up on winning side by 130 runs. Which was then the second  highest margin for victory by a team in IPL.

But the innings still remains one of the best in IPL history solely because of circumstance in which it was played.

5.Murali Vijay (127 of 56 balls)

Chennai Super King’s dashing opener Murali Vijay was always meant to play a innings like this mainly because of his stroking ability and ability to play long innings.Though usually he takes times to get settled it was completely a different story in this match. He came out all guns blazing striking the ball at a strike rate of 226.78 hitting 8 fours and clearing the fence on 11 occasions. His dashy stroking ability helped CSK reach a humongous 246.
