Here we are at another T20 league final and this time around it is the PSL 2020. The tournament after a forced break to their proceedings back in March of this year due to the pandemic was back this month and we have reached the business end. Yes, the most awaited final is here and this time we have the Karachi Kings to take on the Lahore Qalandars. Though very tough to separate the two, we are certain that the PSL will crown a new champion this time.
In what promises to be a thriller of a final, the encounter is scheduled to take place at the National Stadium in Karachi on Tuesday. The road to finals was easier for the Karachi kings when compared to the Lahore Qalandars. The Karachi side managed to win the Qualifier 1 against the Multan Sultans in a match which went down the wire and the teams had to be separated with the help of super over.
On the other side Lahore would be feeling pumped up and confident as they come into this encounter on the back of back to back wins against the Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans in the Eliminator 1 and 2 respectively.
Both the sides have met twice in this season and they stand one a piece. The first encounter saw the LHQ chase down the score of 187 with 8 wickets in hand. The second encounter was dominated by the Karachi side as they managed to chase down the target of 150 without losing a wicket and 17 balls to spare.
Both the teams look inseparable on sheets and given the head to head of these two sides, the clash promises to go down the wire. Which of the two you think will claim their maiden PSL title?

Pitch
The pitch as we saw in the last few games played here has been much in favor of the batsmen. Said that, the pitch does offer some movement for the pacers in the initial stages of the innings but it has been the batsmen who have dominated the proceedings. The last match saw the Multan Sultans fall short in the chase against the Lahore Qalandars 182.
The pitch still looks fresh and with the due expected to be a vital role, the team winning the toss should be looking to chase.

Karachi Kings almost made a mess of the Qualifier after the match looked like done and dusted in their favor at one stage. The brilliance hitting for Rutherford in the super over ensured they were the first to seal a spot in this grand final. The South African all- rounder Wayne Parnell was seen struggling with both the ball and bat and for that reason he could be replaced by his fellow countryman Cameron Delport.
On the other side Lahore Qalandars have been doing a spectacular job and have completely dominated the opposition in the last two matches. The management would be more than happy to continue with the same Xl that have been on a roll.
