The second semi-final of the Lanka Premier League (LPL 2020) will feature the Dambulla Viikings and Jaffna Stallions. The thriller is scheduled to be played at the Mahindra Rajapaksa International stadium on Monday. Dambulla finished 2nd at the points table after the group stages. Jaffna Stallions finished one place below them.
Both the teams have faced each other on two occasions but one of them was called off due to persistent rain. The first meeting though was a one-sided affair as the Stallions managed to score a whopping 218 runs. The Viikings never looked threatening in the chase and ended up on the losing side by 66 runs.
The match does promise to be a close one as both the teams look very tough to separate on sheets. The Dambulla Viiking have a very good batting line- up.
