The in-form Mumbai Indians will take on the depleted Rajasthan Royals in what will mark the 20th match of the Indian Premier League 2020. The promises to be an exciting one as Rajasthan will be hoping to avoid their third defeat in a row. Mumbai Indians have been in really good touch barring the tournament opener and the slight misjudgment in the super over thriller against RCB, MI seem to be in great touch otherwise.

Mumbai Indians will be feeling really confident after a bold show against SRH after scoring 208 which is now their highest score this season. They would be extremely as Quinton de Kock was seen back to form and with the all-rounders doing a wonderful finishing job, the team looks well established on their road to the play-offs.

Rajasthan Royals on the other hand are having a tough time after their amazing start to the tournament. They have been on the losing side for the last two matches and their batsmen seem to be struggling too. Winning the toss, RR opted to bat first but the batsmen could not get going and ended up handing RCB a score of 154 to chase down.

RCB in the current form they are in were not going to make a mess of the chase and the captain Virat Kohli led from the front along the youngster Devdutt to hand RCB their third win of the season.

Rajasthan Royals will be hoping their top order clicks as the English Opener Jos Butler has still not been able to get going this season. Can Mumbai Indians make it to the top of the table? Or will RR turn the tables around?

Weather Report

The weather is once again ideal for cricket with clear skies expected throughout the match. The temperature and humidity will once again take a toil on the players as is reported to be on the higher side again.

Pitch

The pitch in Abu Dhabi has been batsmen friendly and has not had much for the bowlers. Though the spinners could have some say as the pitch tends to hold up at times. As the match is scheduled to take place in the evening the due is expected to play a role.

Team News

Mumbai Indians have not reported any injuries and would be more than happy to go ahead with the same playing Xl that defeated the SRH in a convincing manner.

Rajasthan Royals would be happy with the arrival of their star all-rounder Ben Stokes. Though the new protocols means the 29-year old will have to undergo a 6 days quarantine period and is likely to be available to play for the RR from then.

With Robin Uthappa struggling to time the ball the middle-order seems depleted for RR. This could mean the youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal could be given an opportunity once again at the cost of Robin Uthappa.
