In the third match of the IPL 2020, one of the most followed team- Royal Challengers is set to lock horns with the ‘Silent Assassins’ Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Winners of the 2016 IPL title is arguably one of the strongest teams in the Indian Premier League. With RCB looking to claim their first IPL title, they will look to start things on a winning note too.

SRH definitely has one of the best bowling units in the league. While, on the other side RCB have the batting powerhouses in the form of Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and the new recruit Aaron Finch.

SRH also have recruited Trevor Bayliss as their head coach, which will definitely boost the team. Bayliss came into the limelight recently when he guided England to their maiden ICC World Cup win.

In terms of the potential, both teams look very difficult to separate. The only concern for SRH would be the form of their captain David Warner. If he regains his touch, it could be very tough for the RCB to stop SRH.

Weather Report

The weather is expected to be clear with no chances of rain. With Humidity expected to reach 66% and temperatures hovering in the 33-35 range. The game is expected to be played in clear and hot conditions.

Pitch

The pitch in Dubai is likely to be on the slower side though with not much grass on the pitch, the batsman could have a good time in the powerplay. As seen before the spinners could do much damage with the pitch holding on.

With high humidity expected, due is expected to play a crucial role in giving an advantage to the team batting second.

Team News

Both the teams have not reported any injuries and all players seem fully fit to play. Devdutt Paddiakkal who has been creating waves at the domestic level is likely to make his debut for RCB with the Australian captain Aaron Finch is set to open the innings with Parthiv Patel.

SRH have a well-settled team and wouldn't be looking to have many changes from the last season. Their only big buy at the auctions was Mitchell Marsh. Given the conditions in UAE, it is likely SRH would go ahead with both the Afghan spinners- Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan, which means the Australian will have to wait for his opportunity.
