After pulling off a thrilling two run win over the visitors in the first T20, England would look to claim the series tonight.

While the hosts would not have worries with their top order owing to the good form of Jos Buttler and Dawid Malan, they need to iron out the inconsistency in the middle order with Eoin Morgan and Moeen Ali failing to fire.

On the other hand, Australia would be kicking themselves after being in control of the match at 124-1 with a spectacular middle-order collapse ruining their chances of taking a series lead. They managed to hit just one boundary in their last six overs.

"We just struggled to find the boundary a bit in that 12-18 over mark. That is something to keep working on and that's not the first time it's happened, so as long as the boys keep learning and improve at it, lesson learned," said skipper Finch.

Glenn Maxwell and Alex Carey were far from impressive and Marcus Stoinis had too much to fend for in the final stages.

England would have no concerns with their bowling attack with Adil Rashid getting the crucial strikes in the middle of the innings. Chris Jordan has proved to be very effective in the death overs restricting the run flow.

The Aussies would be a bit surprised at the performance of their bowling attack as Mitchell Starc and Adam Zampa leaked a lot of runs but Maxwell and Kane Richardson got wickets and kept England in check.

Mathew Wade can be given a chance ahead of the out-of-form Carey. While Morgan would be mighty pleased with his team for holding their nerves, he will not look to tinker with any combination for this match.

Having played their first competitive game in six months, the Aussies were quite rusty and would look to pull up their socks in a must-win match today. They can give the hosts a run for their money if their middle-order woes are sorted out.
