There are some players who have won IPL titles with two or more teams. So, who are those lucky cricketers? Cricwizz takes a look.
Karn Sharma is the only player to be part of three successive IPL winning teams and each time for a different franchise. Karn Sharma was part of SRH in 2016 title triumph. He played for MI in 2017 title win. He was part of CSK squad in 2018 title win.
Harbhajan played for Mumbai Indians in the first 10 seasons of IPL and was part of three winning teams. But in 2018, he was released by Mumbai Indians and was lapped up by Chennai Super Kings. He was part of the winning CSK team in that season. He missed the chance to emulate Karn Sharma of being part of three successive winning campaigns as CSK ended runners-up in 2019.
Rayudu has been part of Mumbai Indians from 2010 to 2017, winning three IPL titles. But like Harbhajan Singh, he was released after 2017, and was purchased by Chennai Super Kings. He opened the innings for CSK in 2018 and was a big hit for them. He won his fourth IPL title with CSK. He also just missed out on emulating Karn Sharma.
Rohit was part of the Deccan Chargers squad that won the IPL 2009 title. He then joined Mumbai Indians. It was in 2013 that Mumbai Indians won their first IPL title under the leadership of Rohit. Mumbai Indians went on to win three more titles under Rohit. In fact, Rohit has been part of five winning IPL seasons, the only player so far.
Jadeja was part of the winning Rajasthan Royals squad that won the inaugural season in 2008. He then had to wait for 9 years to be part of another winning squad in 2018 when CSK won their third title. In fact, he was considered a bad omen for CSK as the Chennai squad lost three IPL finals after buying Jaddu. The jinx was finally broken in 2018 when CSK won the title in 2018 with Jadeja in the squad.
