Mumbai Indians won the Qualifier 1 against Chennai Super Kings to enter IPL 2019 final. With this win, Mumbai made it to their fifth IPL final. They have won three out of four IPL finals before. Their only loss in final came in 2010 which they lost to Chennai Super Kings. But since then, they have won three finals out of three.

The team winning Qualifier 1 has gone on to win the final 5 times out of 8
Those teams are CSK in 2011 IPL, KKR in 2012 IPL, KKR in 2014 IPL, MI in 2015 IPL, and CSK in 2018 IPL.
The only exceptions have been 2013 IPL, 2016 IPL and 2017 IPL.
Mumbai Indians are the only team to win the final twice after losing the Qualifier 1
They did it in 2013 IPL and in 2017 IPL. They lost the Qualifier 1 against CSK in 2013, but won Qualifier 2 against RR to set up a title clash with CSK. They beat CSK in the final by 23 runs.
Again, in 2017 IPL, they lost the Qualifier 1 against RPS, but won the Qualifier 2 against KKR, to set up title clash with RPS. They won the final against RPS by 1 run.
RCB are the only team to play two Qualifier 1s and then go on to lose the final
They did it first in 2011 IPL and again in 2016 IPL. They lost to CSK in 2011 IPL final and to SRH in 2016 IPL final.
SRH, CSK are the only two teams to win Qualifier 2 after winning the Eliminator
CSK did it first in 2012 IPL when they defeated MI in the Eliminator and then beat Delhi Daredevils in Qualifier 2. However, they lost the final to KKR.
SRH did it in 2016 IPL when they won the Eliminator against KKR, Qualifier 2 against Gujarat Lions and then the final against RCB. SRH are the only team to go on to win the title from Eliminator.
CSK are the only team to be part of every Qualifier (including 1 and 2) since the introduction of playoffs in 2011 IPL, except the two editions (2016, 2017) they were suspended from the tournament. Out of the six times, they have been in playoffs since 2011 (excluding the two seasons they were suspended), CSK have directly advanced into the final from Qualifier 1 in 2011, 2013, 2018. Out of these three, they won the final in 2011 and 2018.
The remaining three times (2012, 2014, 2015) they played Qualifier 2, they were either knocked out in Qualifier 2 or in the final. They lost in the final in 2012 and 2015. They lost in Qualifier 2 in 2014 against Punjab.
