The 44th match of the 2019 Indian Premier League sees table-toppers Chennai Super Kings take on the third-placed Mumbai Indians at Chennai’s den. A win for Chennai will guarantee their place in qualifiers while if Mumbai wins, they will surge ahead to the second position.
After two consecutive losses at the hands of Hyderabad and Bangalore, Chennai on Tuesday defeated Hyderabad by six wickets in the return leg. Mumbai, on the other hand, faced defeat at the hands of Rajasthan Royals in their last match.
Since the match is at Chennai, spinners will come into play and thus CSK would be playing with three spinners. They are almost certain to play the same team that defeated Hyderabad convincingly. Mumbai, on the other hand, would want to solidify their batting-order by bringing back Ishan Kishan in place of Ben Cutting.
