This match will decide whether India will take on Pakistan in the final or not. It’s a do or die game for both Bangladesh and Pakistan which is set to be played at Abu Dhabi. Sarfraz & Co. lost 2 games in a row against India and would definitely be under pressure in this must-win game. On the other hand, Bangladesh managed to win their last battle against Afghanistan and would be looking to beat the Men in Green. Here’s the prediction:
Exceptional middle-order – Imrul Kayes and Mahmudullah showed some brilliance with their willow against Afghanistan that helped the Tigers win the match. Opener Liton Das is in form too after a big injury to Tamim Iqbal in the Asia Cup opener. The batting order has been pretty much good so far including the in-form Mushfiqur Rahim.
Shakib Al Hasan’s poor run – All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been ordinary so far in the tournament. He is not fully fit yet the management forced him to play this tournament. His bad fitness is clearly be seen on the field as he has been unable to pick up wickets, also finding it hard to score runs. It would be interesting to see whether he would take the field against Pakistan or not.
Magnificent Malik – Shoaib Malik has played a couple of tremendous knocks in the tournament so far including his heroics against Afghanistan and India. Apart from him, no one in the side has been able to create an impact in all the matches till date. The team would be expecting another superb performance from Malik in this do or die encounter.
Left-arm pacers – At one time, Pakistan’s pacers used to be their strengths but now the situation is totally different. In the ongoing tournament, they are trying their best but are unable to take wickets. Mohammad Amir, who is one of the greatest bowlers at present, has disappointed his fans by not playing his best cricket these days.
Cricwizz Prediction: Bangladesh can beat Pakistan in this encounter if they play like a team else fans can witness one of the greatest battles of all time with India vs Pakistan in Asia Cup final at Dubai.
