Afghanistan will play their maiden Test against India at Bengaluru on June 14. They are coming off a 3-0 T20I series win over Bangladesh. No one expected them to do well. Afghanistan skipper Asghar Stanikzai has went to the extent of saying that his spinners are better than India’s.
But performing in Test cricket with red ball is a different ball game and needs a lot of hard work to achieve success.
Dinesh Karthik dismissed Stanikzai’s statement, stating India’s spinners are more experienced and it is something that can not be bought but earned over the years.
