First complete week of the Indian cash-rich league has culminated on a successful note with Sunrisers Hyderabad won all of their 3 matches. The orange army are the one who is undefeated till now in this year’s IPL. The next 3 successful teams are Kings XI Punjab, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. All of them have won 2 games each and lost one as well.
On the other side, Mumbai Indians are worst performer so far with zero wins to to their name. This has been the case with them in almost every season but they always make a strong comeback. Unlike every time, today we are up with the ‘Player of the Week.’ There have been some tremendous performances so far in the last week of the IPL but opting out 1 from them was not easy. We thought about Shikhar Dhawan, Rashid Khan, Mayank Markande, MS Dhoni but finally opted for ‘Sanju Samson’ as our player of the week.
The Rajasthan Royals star started off his campaign in style with a sensible innings of 49 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Though RR lost that game, Samson’s form was a good indication for the team. Against Delhi Daredevils in a rain-affected game, Sanju Samson scored a quickfire 37 off just 22 deliveries. Rahane’s men won the game by D/L system. In a Super Sunday clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Samson continued his terrific form and hit a scintillating knock of 92 off just 45 balls. His mountainous 10 sixes were a treat to watch! So, Sanju Samson is our ‘Player of the Week.’
