Folks! Hope you liked our Fantasy stuff where we picked our best XI from the SRH vs MI clash. If you haven’t read it yet, then first click here: Our fantasy picks for MI vs SRH
Now, let’s take a look at how our picks performed in the yesterday’s game. These were our XI from the yesterday’s thriller:
Ishan Kishan, Evin Lewis (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Suryakumar Yadav, Yusuf Pathan, Hardk Pandya (vc), Krunal Pandya, Shakib Al Hasan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan, Jasprit Bumrah
Starting from the wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan, the young lad scored just 9 runs with the bat but took 2 crucial catches as a keeper. So, his batting points might not be more but as a keeper, we can say he was effective.
Evin Lewis was our captain and generally a skipper earns two times the points. Lewis scored a quick 29 with his willow and earned us some valuable points. He even hit 3 boundaries and 2 maximums. Shikhar Dhawan, on the other hand, played a magnificent knock of 45 off just 28 deliveries with 8 boundaries. Yusuf Pathan finally batted against MI and added some crucial runs with Deepak Hooda down the order. He scored 14 off 14 balls with the help of 2 fours. Once again Suryakumar Yadav showed his class like he did against CSK in the IPL opener. The hard-hitter scored a valuable 28 with the help of 2 fours and 1 six. Our batting side was effective throughout!
Now, coming onto all-rounders, one of major setbacks to our team was the unexpected exclusion of Hardik Pandya. Krunal Pandya, on the other hand, scored 15 runs, bowled with an economy of 5 and also took 1 catch. Shakib- Al- Hasan, the 3rd all-rounder of the list scored 12 runs and also took 1 wicket in his 4 overs. He also took a catch of skipper Rohit Sharma. So, the all-rounders were average when it comes to performance.
The bowlers of our fantasy include Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan and Jasprit Bumrah. Bhuvi didn’t play the game because of injury but his teammate Rashid Khan was exceptional with his bowling. He gave just 13 runs in his 4 overs and took a crucial wicket of Ben Cutting. For his remarkable performance, he was awarded with the Man of the Match trophy. So, anyone who took Rashid Khan in his fantasy team last night must be glad by seeing his points. The last one is Jasprit Bumrah who took 2 crucial wickets of Yusuf Pathan and Rashid Khan. The yorker specialist came back in style after his bowling debacle against CSK in the first match. So, our bowlers too were impressive.
Overall, we find our fantasy picks as above average. It could be very good if Bhuvi and Hardik Pandya would have played. So, how much did you win in fantasy last night??
