New Zealand, who are playing this series with second-string squad as all their star players have been busy in the IPL. In the absence of the regular skipper, Tom Latham has led the team beautifully so far and he is also the leading run scorer in this tournament. New Zealand have been mixing up their playing eleven in this series. So it will be interesting to see who will be their options in bowling department. Having won the series they will be keen on testing some of the new players in the match.
Batting has been their strength as in this series in all the matches they have crossed above 250 and Tom Latham has been leading both the team and as well as the batting unit successfully so far. Mitchell Santner has done well with the ball by picking up 7 wickets from 3 matches and a five-wicket haul against Ireland and the debutants in the team have been making full utilization of the opportunities they get.
They don’t have any major weaknesses. There may be problem for the team if Tom Latham gets out cheaply and other players have to stand up and rise to the occasion to guide their team home. They should not take Bangladesh for granted as they are the team who can upset the opponents in any kind of format and there will be lot of selection headaches on whom to choose since all have performed well whenever they get the opportunity.

Their opening Partnership between Tamim Iqbal and Sowmya Sarkar has been good as they have crossed 50 in both the matches and laid a good platform for the team. Mustafizur Rahman is back into the team after a series of injuries and has not disappointed the management as he is the highest wicket taker for Bangladesh with 7 wickets from 3 matches.
They are not utilizing the good start to finish the match well as they lose some key moments in the match and Shakib Al Hasan has not been good with both bat and ball in the series and he should step up in this match and use his experience to guide is team to victory.
