Samson: Very happy with the knock and to be part of a winning team. Very thankful to Rahul Sir and Paddy Upton for working with me a lot. We had a long training camp and the results are coming through. I am working on my batting and am keen to iron out my mistakes. Morris and Rishabh are hard-hitters, they helped me string together useful partnerships.
Sanju Samson is the Man of the Match for his maiden T20 hundred.
Zaheer: Almost a perfect game, we needed that. This team has got plenty of potentials, just need to back them. We just need to work on the processes. We have some good headache in our bowling, Shami, Rabada and Jayant are sitting out. It’s just about clicking during a match situation. I have strong muscle memory I guess, the 92 Tests I have played has helped. The physios and trainers have worked a lot, I am enjoying my time. We have a young side, there’s plenty of energy around. We got a lot of things right in the first game, but this win will help us go a long way in the tournament.
Rahane: I thought 180-190 would be good on this wicket. Credit to Delhi; Sanju (Samson) in the middle and Chris Morris at the end. I think our bowlers bowled well in the middle; Tahir and Zampa. Delhi got the momentum in the last three overs. No blame at all. When you are chasing a big target you need two big partnerships and we didn’t get that. In T20 you have to learn from the past and move on. We have to believe in our ability and look forward to the next game.
All OVER FOR PUNE! 108 all out in 16.1 over. A huge 97-run victory for Delhi. A big boost in the net run-rate, though it is early days for in the tournament. With this victory, the Daredevils join the other seven teams with at least one victory in the tournament. Only Gujarat Lions are yet to win a game so far in the tournament.
Pune 9 down for 108 after 16 overs. Delhi one the verge of a big victory.
GONE! Good sharp catch by Pant. Faf goes for 8. Nadeem strikes. Pune 52/4. In comes MSD, Pune’s last hope.
Three down Pune. Upto Faf and Stokes now.
Well bowled ZAK! Pune lose both Rahane and Agarwal. They are 38/2 after 5 overs.
Delhi bowlers have started well. They haven’t allowed Pune to get with their chase.

WHAT A FINISH for Delhi! They finish with 205/4. As many as 76 runs in last four overs, 23 off the final over. What a cameo Chris Morris has played! A 9-ball 38 for him. This is the highest score in Pune in T20s.
BOWLED! Zampa gets Sanju. Delhi 166/4.
Samson becomes the first player to score a ton in IPL 2017. A 62-ball 102 for the young wicketkeeper batsman from Kerala. A maiden T20 hundred for him.
A set Rishabh Pant was brilliantly run out by Mayank Agarwal. But Sanju Samson in looking in a completely different zone altogether. Delhi 160/3 with two overs to go. Samson is on 96.
OUT! Tahir strikes. Billings goes. A much-needed breakthrough for the hosts. Delhi Daredevils 71/2 after 8.1 overs. Rishabh Pant is the new man in and makes his intentions clear from the very first ball.
Zampa has been brought in from the other end. Leggies from both ends.
Tahir into the attack now. Delhi 66/1 in the 7th over.

Sanju Samson is playing a blinder here. 31 in just 14 balls already.
OUT! Early breakthrough for Pune. Tare goes. Deepak Chahar strikes in his first over. DD 2/1 in the second over. Sanju Samson comes out at number three.
Tare and Billings to open the batting.
Rising Pune Supergiant: Ajinkya Rahane (C), Faf du Plessis, Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Tripathi, Ben Stokes, MS Dhoni (WK), Rajat Bhatia, Deepak Chahar, Adam Zampa, Ashok Dinda, Imran Tahir.
Delhi Daredevils: Aditya Tare, Sam Billings, Karun Nair, Sanju Samson, Rishabh Pant (WK), Corey Anderson, Chris Morris, Pat Cummins, Amit Mishra, Shahbaz Nadeem, Zaheer Khan (C).
Zaheer: It looks a good wicket and we were planning to do the same thing. It is 20-over-a-side and it will not change much. DD is known for this – not starting too well. Everyone is up for it and are ready for the challenge. Just the one change; Carlos is out and Corey Anderson is in.
Rahane: We will look to bowl. The wicket looks really good. There was dew in the last game we played here and hence the decision to field. Unfortunately, Smith is not well and I had to step in. It is an opportunity for the boys and hopefully, we will do well. Stomach bug keeps Smith out. Unfortunately, Manoj Tiwary lost his father today and he is out. Zampa comes in for Daniel Christian.
Rising Pune Supergiant have won the toss and have opted to field.
