Ashish Nehra has proved age is just a number. At 37, he is still one of the better bowlers in limited-overs cricket. His experience, control, guile all came in handy during Sunrisers Hyderabad’s opening clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2017 IPL opener. He took 2/42 to take his tally of wickets to 100 in IPL. His 100th wicket was Sreenath Aravind.
Nehra became the first left-arm bowler to take 100 wickets in IPL. Nehra has taken 100 wickets in 83 matches @ 23.40 with the best bowling figures of 4/10. He has played for as many as five franchisees – CSK, DD, MI, PW, SRH.
