Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bangalore has been with the Bengaluru franchisee since the first edition of IPL in 2008. Over the years, he has evolved as a marquee player for them, captaining his team to the final of 2016 IPL.
He also became the top run-getter in IPL with 4110 runs @ 38.05 with 4 tons and 26 fifties in 139 matches for RCB. Suresh Raina is second with 4098 runs @ 33.59 with one ton and 28 fifties for CSK and Gujarat Lions.
Kohli is the only player among top 10 run-getters in IPL to play for just one franchisee in IPL – Royal Challengers Bangalore. All other nine players have played at least for two franchisees.
