Jayant Yadav made his Test debut against England at Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vizag on Thursday. It is the same venue where Yadav has made his ODI debut against New Zealand last month. In the process, he becomes the eighth Indian cricketer to make his Test and ODI debut at the same venue. Maninder Singh: He is the first Indian cricketer to get included in this list. Maninder made his Test and ODI debut at National Stadium in Karachi in 1982. He had had a forgettable Test debut, scoring a pair and failing to take up a single wicket against Pakistan in 1982. He went on to play 35 Tests and 59 ODIs for India.
Bharat Arun: The all-rounder made his Test and ODI debut at Green Park in Kanpur in 1986. He scored 2 runs and took 3 wickets in his debut Test against Sri Lanka in 1986. Arun could play only 2 Tests and 4 ODIs for India.
Nilesh Kulkarni: The left-arm bowler played his first Test and first ODI at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo in 1997. He made history when he took a wicket off his first ball in Test cricket. He dismissed Marvan Atapattu in the Colombo Test of 1997 off his first ball, but that remained his only wicket in that Test as Sri Lanka posted record total of 952/6. Kulkarni could take just two wickets in his 3-Test-old career.
MSK Prasad: The former Indian wicketkeeper made his Test debut at same ground a year after playing his first ODI. He made his Test and ODI debut at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali. Prasad scored 16 not out and effected one caught dismissal in his debut Test against New Zealand in 1999.
S Sreesanth: The controversial Indian pacer made his Test and ODI debut at Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground at Nagpur in 2005-2006. He took four wickets in his debut Test against England in 2006.
Varun Aaron: The Indian pacer made his Test and ODI debut at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai in 2011. He took three wickets in the famous drawn Test against West Indies in 2011. He has played 9 Tests and 9 ODIs till now before injuries has kept him out of selection.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar : Bhuvi made his Test and ODI debut at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, in 2012/13. He failed to take a wicket, but scored 38 valuable runs with the bat in his debut Test against Australia at this venue in 2013. Bhuvi has struggled with injuries and played 15 Tests and 57 ODIs for India till now.
