India batsman Yuvraj Singh became the fourth Indian cricketer to complete 1000 runs in T20Is. He achieved the landmark during his knock of 15 in the Asia Cup opening match against Bangladesh. At the end of this knock, Yuvraj Singh’s tally reads 1008 runs from 47 matches at an average of 29.64.
The list is headed by Virat Kohli followed by Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma.
Overall, Yuvraj Singh is the 24th player to score 1000 runs in T20Is. Brendon McCullum tops the list of most runs in T20Is with 2140 runs from 71 matches.
