The Indian Premier League has reached the final stages and we are just three matches away from knowing the winner of the most prestigious T20 league in the World. But to add to the entertainment we also have the Women’s T20 challenge taking place and the first two matches were edge of the seat stuff as we saw some exciting stuff from the ladies.
The third match is scheduled to take place between the Trailblazers and Supernovas at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday. The match will decide the fate of the Supernovas as a defeat here could send them packing, as they are now placed last on the table. They Supernovas though will not have to worry about the net rate as the Velocity took a hammering in the hands of Trailblazers after being dismissed for 47 runs.
The Trailblazers will feel much more confident after their exceptional bowling show against Velocity and would be hoping they can replicate the same against the Supernovas. Whereas the Supernovas after being defeated by the Velocity by 5 wickets in the opener now find themselves in a must win situation.
The last time the two sides met was at the 2019 Women’s T20 Challenge where the Trailblazers came on top by a close margin of 2 runs.
Can the Trailblazers make it two out of two? Or will the Supernovas move further closer to their third T20 Women’s Challenge title?

The Conditions are well in favor of cricket as clear skies are expected throughout the day. The temperature is on the decline as the winter season has started to take a peek. The temperatures are expected to hover in the range of 22-26 degrees. While the humidity at peak would touch the 58 percent mark.
The pitch as opposed to the beginning of the tournament has slowed down considerably and is expected to behave the same way. The spinners will have their say and the team winning the toss could prefer to chase as the dew could come into effect later in the evening.
Any score of 140 plus by the team batting first will definitely boost their chances for a win.
The Trailblazers opted to go with their second choice keeper- Richa Ghosh over their regular keeper Nuzhat Parween. The team though looks solid and well balanced. They will be likely going ahead with the same playing Xl that bamboozled the Velocity batswomen.
The Supernovas too have not reported any injuries and all the players look good to go. The team gave a good fight against the Velocity, but the 51- runs stand between Sune Luus and Sushma Verma took the game away from the Supernovas. They will be happy to feature the same Xl that played against the Velocity.
