1) Banter between Rishabh Pant and Tim Paine
Banters are usually sour but the banter between the two wicket- keepers for some reason kept the audience entertained throughout maybe because of the fact that it all ended well. The two had an exchange of words from the very beginning of the series but it was during the Perth Test match, the Aussie keeper had a dig at him by asking- “Can you babysit? I can take my wife to the movies while you watch the kids”.
The two did seem to have a tense environment around them since then but to everyone’s surprise, a few days later Pant was seen posing with his wife and kids and the image took very little time to go viral and finally the situation between the two seemed to have eased down and the image did have many of them chuckle.
2) Virat Kohli flaunts his dance moves
The Indian skipper was seen flaunting his dance moves during the first test match between Australia and India at Adelaide. He was seen showcasing the moves on the 3rd day of the test match when the Aussies were struggling with the bat and the skipper seemed to be in a good vibe throughout as he decided to engage with the crowd with some moves.
The match did go in favor of the Men in blue as they managed to defeat the Baggy greens by 31 runs and also went up 1- 0 in the four-match Test series. The series was won by the Indians 2-1 after the 4th test match was drawn.
3) Australian Prime Minister and Pant share a lighter moment
The Indian and Australian players were invited for dinner at the official residence of the Prime Minister on New Year’s Day. While the players were being addressed to Scott Morrison, he went ahead expressed his love for the game style of Virat Kohli and how a big fan he is of the Indian Skipper.
While the Indian Wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant was introduced to him, “Ahh yes, you sledge right?”, Morrison put forward the question to the young Indian, and they both were seen to have shared the funny moment with a laugh. The video of the moment did trend on social media and the moment still makes us giggle.
4) Rohit Sharma Ignored by Ravichandran Ashwin
An unforgettable moment came about day 4 of the first test match between the two sides. The moment was rather an embarrassing one for the Indian opener as Ravichandran Ashwin after picking up the crucial wicket of Aaron Finch was being congratulated by his teammates and then came in Rohit Sharma to shake his hands but the spinner was busy with something else and he completely missed out and Rohit Sharma ended up patting his back and left the rather the embarrassing situation.
The video did trend around the social media and the Netizens did not spare the moment as many jokes were made out of it and even today it manages to make us have a laugh.
