The Kings XI Punjab bowler has looked refresh thanks to the break due to the lockdown. He has been a revelation with his fiery bowling. He has exhibited pace, unplayable bouncers, and Yorkers to earn the tag of joint most successful bowler in IPL 2020 so far. However, the team’s result has not been favourable despite Shami’s breathtaking performance in IPL 2020 so far. He has taken 7 wickets @ 11.71 with an economy rate of 7.45 in 3 innings so far.

The RCB leg-spinner has been brilliant so far this season, although the pitch conditions have not been conducive to spin bowling. He has figures of 3/18, 1/25, 1/48 in 3 innings so far in September. He has been brilliant with his ball control, line and length bowling, and clever changes of pace, putting the pitch conditions out of question. He has been in excellent form, and that bodes well for RCB in the tournament.
