The Bellerive Oval in Hobart will host the fifth and final Test of the 2021-22 Ashes on Friday, January 14. It has been hard for England to get going in the ongoing series, having already lost their chance of winning it. But the fact that they drew the New Year's Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground should provide them with a lot of confidence.

After the hosts failed to get their last wicket on the fifth day, the Brits evaded a loss in Sydney. Contributions from Zak Crawley, Ben Stokes, and Jonny Bairstow ensured that the visiting team avoided an embarrassing whitewash. On the other side, there hasn't been much that's gone wrong for Australia in this series, and thus, they are 3-0 ahead.

Although they have dealt with quite a few injuries during their series, they have not let them affect them. Usman Khawaja played his first Test after over two years, and the Australian batsman responded with back-to-back tons, Scott Bolland who came in the second test, scalped 5 wickets in the second innings to win the Boxing day test.

The home team has a positive record in Hobart since they have won nine of 13 games and lost two to New Zealand and South Africa.

Can England do one better and win the final game? Or will Australia finish this series on a high by winning the final match?

There are likely to be a host of changes in the English camp. With the batsmen consistently failing in the series, with the exception of Joe Root. The management will be keen to make some changes in the squad, hoping to end the series on a positive note.
