After a thumping 66 runs victory over Afghanistan just a day back, Team India is all set to lock horns with Scotland at the Dubai International Stadium, this Friday.
The Indian side who were desperate for a win managed to do that in style against Mohammad Nabi and Co. by recording the highest total of this edition of the World Cup. With the help of the openers, India managed to score 210 runs in the first innings, and in reply, the Afghanis managed just 144 runs.
India have managed to keep the hopes of making it to the play-offs alive by the victory but their destiny will be decided when Afghanistan takes on New Zealand on the 7th of November, where Afghanistan will have to beat the kiwis to keep the Indians breathing in the tournament.
The Scottish side are yet to open their account in the Super 12 stages. With 3 losses in 3 matches, they are well and out of the tournament but have a great opportunity to upset the big guns.
Tomorrow we go again in a huge game in how the group will end up 👇

Can Scotland be the party spoilers for team India? Or will India continue from where they left off against Afghanistan?

Team News
No changes are expected from the Indian side after the dominating victory and will be hoping they can keep the mojo going forward. The replacement of Varun Chakravarthy with experienced Ravichandran Ashwin worked wonders for India and one would be just thinking what would have been the scenario if he was part of encounters against Pakistan and NZ.
Scotland have nothing to lose and as reported by the captain they take this opportunity of facing India as a pivotal moment. They are likely to feature the same Xl that took the field against the kiwis.
Probable Playing Xl
India (IND): KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (c), Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah
Scotland (SCO): George Munsey, Kyle Coetzer (c), Matthew Cross (wk), Richie Berrington, Calum MacLeod, Michael Leask, Chris Greaves, Mark Watt, Safyaan Sharif, Alasdair Evans, Bradley Wheal
Must-Picks
Indian flamboyant opener Rohit Sharma was seen at his best against Afghanistan and we feel he will continue his prime form. Scottish WK-batsman Mathew Cross and Indian opener KL Rahul are also expected to be on the runs.
Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is another must-pick as he can be brutal with both the bat and ball.

Prediction
India seem to have got their grip back. Yes, it might be a touch late but given that there is still a chance for them to qualify will ensure they give their best once again.
Considering the net run rate will come into play, they are likely to come out all guns blazing. We expect a high-scoring encounter and we are afraid that this could turn out to be a one-sided clash going in favor of the Indians.
