South Africa and England are set to battle in a 3-match series at Newlands on Friday. The sides met earlier this year too when the defending World champions won against the Proteas in that series.
South Africa has treated defeat in four of their last six T20 matches. The Proteas have had some problems in their board and they require a solid performance to get their mind off the issues.
England had several players who featured in the Indian Premier League and performed really well. South Africa too, had the likes of Faf du Plessis and Quinton de Kock featuring in almost every game for their respective teams played.
However, the South Africans suffered another series loss to Australia just after the England series.
England though has been in the form of their life deafening both South Africa and Australia in succession. Against Australia, all the games were held at Southampton and England won the opening two, finally losing a no-pressure third game.
