RCB will now be hoping to get off the mark by scoring those two points as they next face Kolkata Knight Riders at Dy Patil Stadium. 

RCB will come in this game on the back of a defeat to Punjab Kings despite posing a challenging run of 204. The batters showed their worth on the pitch, but the bowlers were disappointing as they allowed Punjab Kings to chase the 204 runs. 

Meanwhile, KKR secured their well-deserved points after seeing off defending Champions Chennai. As a result, they will be brimming with confidence when they face RCB in their second match of IPL 2022. 

#1 Kolkata Knight Riders beat RCB by 4 wickets.

KKR’s great bowling restricted RCB to 138 runs which was an easy task for the KKR as they quickly chased the target but lost the grip between the game, and it looked like RCB still have hope with Virat Kohli playing his last game for RCB as a captain. 

However, the introduction of Sunil Narine changed the momentum of the match as he hit 26 runs in 15 balls and helped this team conquer the match. 

#2 Kolkata Knight Riders defeated RCB by 9 wickets

Excellent bowling from KKR who dismissed the entire RCB team in just 92 runs and beat them by nine wickets, thanks to Venkatesh Iyer, who scored 41 runs and ended the game inside 10 overs. 

#3 Royal Challengers Bangalore hammers KKR by 38 runs

RCB showed their batting prowess in the first innings as Glen Maxwell, 78, and AB De Villiers, 76 not out, gave KKR a run for their money and scored an impressive 204 runs in 20 overs, which was a tricky target for the KKR. However, they failed to pursue the target as 20 overs weren’t enough for the KKR. 

Although Andre Russell and Shakib Al Hasan did ignite some hopes but were things quickly turned into a mess when Jamieson dismissed Shakib Al Hasan. And KKR only managed to make 11 runs after Shakib’s departure in the 18th over.

Mohamed Siraj made a mockery of KKR's batsmen as his bowling exploits limited them to only 84 runs in 20 overs. Siraj took consecutive wickets and bowled two maidens in just one IPL game and ended his 4-over spell with three wickets and eight runs. 

With just 84 runs to make, RCB recorded an easy eight wickets win with 39 balls to spare in their second consecutive win against KKR. 

#5 Royal Challengers Bangalore routs KKR by 82 runs

A top-class performance by RCB’s bowler, who swept off KKR’s entire team in just 112 runs in 20 overs with nine wickets. RCB displayed outstanding performance in the first inning with AB De Villiers 73 not out off just 33 balls, and Virat Kohli (33 not out off 28 balls) powered RCB to reach a posing threat of 194 targets which KKR’s batsman found hard to quest and were all got out in 112 runs, thanks to a spectacular bowling partnership of Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar who cleared KKR’S middle order.
