After a fascinating double-header on Saturday, where we got to witness two contrasting matches. The first match being the high-scoring thriller, which the Karachi Kings managed to win by 7 wickets against Multan Sultans. The second-match was rather a low-scoring entertainer which went in favor of Peshawar Zalmi.
The 11th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 is scheduled to take place between the second-placed Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars, who are just below them at the 3rd place on the ladder.
The teams will be locking horns for the first time this season but have clashed against each other previously on 11 occasions. The Kings find themselves ahead in the head-to-head with 7 wins out of the 11. Kings, who are placed second currency will be hoping they can win this riveting contest and make it to the top of the table, courtesy of a better net run-rate than the current toppers- Peshawar Zalmi. Lahore Qalandars on the other side have an opportunity to replace their opponents in the points table.
Imad Wasim and Co. will be coming into this clash on the back of a thrilling victory over Multan Sultans, but their consecutive duty might take a toll on the players. Lahore Qalandars on the other side were made to taste defeat by Multan Sultans in their last outing, but they did have a day off which would mean the team would have their plans cut-off.
Can Karachi Kings continue their winning run and reign at the top? Or will it be Sohail Akhtar and Co. who manage to come out the victor?

The conditions are well in favor of the sport as clear skies are expected throughout the course of the day. The temperature is expected to be hovering in the 28-23 degree Celsius and the humidity at the peak is likely to touch the 17 percent range.
The groundsmen have been doing a wonderful job to keep the strip as fresh as possible despite the heavy usage. The pitch is still an absolute belter to bat on and given that these two sides have a strong and long batting line-up, we are likely to witness a high-scoring showdown between the teams.
Karachi Kings have an excellent batting line-up which includes amply experienced players and brute hitters. But their bowling has not been up to the mark, the bowlers have been leaking runs constantly and it is the Karachi Batsmen who have been bailing them out. Waqas Maqsood was on the expensive side once again and for that reason, he is likely to be replaced by the 21-year old pacer- Mohammad Ilyas.
Qalandars on the other hand have an exceptional bowling unit, which includes the likes of Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Samit Patel. Their top-order has been exceptional so far in this season but their middle-order is yet to face the heat. Their star player- Rashid Khan has been replaced by the Nepalese youngster- Sandeep Lamichhane after the Afghani left to join Afghanistan for their upcoming series against Zimbabwe.
