Australia vs India Test series is set to begin on December 17. India had won the last Test series 2-1 Down Under, under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. If India wins the series against Australia, it would be just the second instance of India achieving this feat Down Under. India had won the Test series 2-1 Down Under in 2018-19.

178 runs - Ajinkya Rahane needs 178 runs to score 1000 runs against Australia in Tests. He currently has 822 runs @ 37.36 in 13 Tests against Australia.

15 wickets - Nathan Lyon needs 15 wickets to bag 100 wickets against India in Tests. He currently has 85 wickets @ 32.60 in 18 Tests against India. Only Anil Kumble has over 100 wickets (111) in Australia vs India Tests.

20 wickets - Mohammed Shami needs 20 wickets to bag 200 wickets in his Test career. He currently has 180 wickets @ 27.36 in 49 Tests.
