Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals will face each other in their second match of IPL 2022 at Dy Patil Stadium. 

MI will need to make amends in this match after a defeat against Delhi Capitals. Bowlers couldn’t cope with the pressure as they allowed DC batsmen to chase the target. On the positive side return of Suryakumar will strengthen Mi’s battings department.

Mumbai Indians gave a Daunting task as they went all in during the first innings and scored 195 runs, with Hardik Pandya making 60 runs in just 21 balls. Mumbai looked clear favorites in this game, but RR’s Sanju Samson and Ben Stokes were optimistic about pulling an upset in this game as Samson got his 54 off 31 balls and Ben Stokes a mammoth 107 runs off 60. Both were not out and caused a considerable upset to MI, completing the target with 8 balls to spare. 

#4 Mumbai Indians win by 57 runs

Mumbai batters showcased their expertise in this game as they secured a challenging task for RR. Suryakumar dominated the headlines with 79 runs off 47 balls as Mumbai made 193 runs. However, Jasprit Bumrah was on fire as he dismissed four RR batsmen allowing only 20 runs in four overs, as MI restricted RR to just 130 runs sweeping off entire RR batters.
