The 44th match of the Indian Premier League 2021 is set to take place between the table-toppers Chennai Super Kings and bottom dwellers Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, this Thursday.
Sunrisers Hyderabad, who are pretty much out of the tournaments after just managing two wins in their 10 matches so far will be playing to restore pride and always will serve as a great opportunity for the franchise to try out their reserves. While the MS Dhoni-led side are almost certain of a place in the playoffs and win against SRH would confirm the same.
The last time the two sides met it was the Men in Yellow who dominated the proceedings on the back of an amazing knock by the CSK young sensational opener Ruturaj Gaikwad, who scored a quick-fire 75* off 44 balls taking his side home by 7 wickets.

Can CSK make easy work of the struggling Sunrisers and secure their spot for the playoffs? Or is there a breath of fresh air still left in Kane Willaimson and Co.?

Team News
Windies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo missed out on the encounter against KKR after suffering a slight niggle. His replacement Sam Curran could not do any justice to the role as he leaked away 56 runs. As per the attest reports the West Indian is reported to be fit but the skipper would not be taking any chances with the playoffs around the corner.
Sunrisers Hyderabad made a bold decision of replacing David Warner with Jason Roy and it did pan out well as SRH managed to win a match after a series of consecutive losses. They would not be looking to fiddle with the winning combination.

Must-picks
Ruturaj Gaikwad has been the go-to man for the Chennai side this season and given his current form, he is expected to add great value to your fantasy line-up along with the SRH opener Jason Roy, who scored a flawless 60 in the first match of the season.
Faf du Plessis of CSK and Jason Holder of SRH are two other players who we feel could provide the bulk of points.

Prediction
Two teams who are having two completely extreme journeys this season. Chennai Super Kings look at their best this season and beating them could take something special. The Sunrisers side have been immersed into internal politics and most of the players seem to be undergoing a rough patch. Just not the season meant for the SRH and we do not expect them to have enough to beat the table-toppers.
Cricwizz predicts CSK to win the match and cement their place at the top of the table.
