The second day of double-header will begin with the defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Both teams will be feeling confident as after a poor start to their campaign this season, they have bounced back well to the winning ways.

Mumbai Indians after a close encounter with RCB, which they lost in the super over made a really good recovery against the inform KXIP by defeating them by a large margin of 48 runs. Rohit Sharma has been leading from the front and is currently one of the highest run-getters this season.

Sunrisers Hyderabad on the other side started the tournament with consecutive losses but with the inclusion of Kane Williamson and young talent Abdul Samad, the team has started to make really good progress in the tournament. The match against CSK saw sheet dominance by the bowlers once again as the top-order of CSK was dismissed cheaply. Though, the partnership of Dhoni and Jadeja threatened to take things away from SRH. SRH ended up on the winning side by a margin of 7 runs.

Both teams seem to be in really good shape. Mumbai Indians though have the opportunity to cement their place at the top of the table. Can the four times champions take the driver seat? Or will Silent assassins SRH make it three out of three?

Weather Report

The weather again is ideal for cricket with clear skies and no chances of rain whatsoever. The Summer season in the country continues to take a toil on the players as once again the temperature is expected to hover around the 33 degree range, with humidity on the lower side as compared to the previous days.

Pitch

The pitch in Sharjah is a belter for the batsman. The ground has already seen huge scores and anything less than 200 will be a surprise given the nature of the pitch. With even the score of 223 being chased down, no score seems to be a safe one in Sharjah. As the match is scheduled to take place in the afternoon the due is not expected to play any part.

Team News

Mumbai Indians have not reported any injury concerns. Ishan Kishan who was covering for the injured Saurabh Tiwary did a wonderful job against the RCB by scoring 99 runs but unfortunately could not take his team home. He is likely to continue in the No.3 spot.

SRH do have a huge injury concern as their key bowler Bhuvneshwar was seen struggling with a muscular strain and their captain David Warner has said he is not sure on the extent of the injury and if it could make him sit out of this encounter. Siddharth Kaul could likely replace him in that case.
