MS Dhoni completed 200 matches as Chennai Super Kings skipper when he took the field in the Wankhede stadium as they played the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021. That was his 177th appearance for CSK in the IPL with 24 other outings coming in the CLT20.

Ravindra Jadeja known for his efforts on the field has garnered another record for the most run-outs by any player in the Indian Premier League. The energetic Indian fielder has made himself someone who can't be disregarded in all phases of the game.

The match between DC and RR turned out to be a relatively low-scoring affair and for the first time ever in the Indian Premier League, an innings ended with no sixes at the Wankhede Stadium. 

The other two instances when an innings finished without a maximum was the match between RCB and KKR, where Virat Kohli and Co. Were bundled out for 49, the lowest score ever in IPL history. The other instance occured when CSK failed to even clear the fence once against RR, back in 2013.

In the 9th match of IPL 2021, Kieron Pollard became the first batsman to hit 200 sixes for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. Only AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli playing for RCB have accomplished the feat of hitting 200 sixes for one IPL team.
