Match Start Time: 19:00 Local (13:30 GMT)
Match Venue: Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur
Excellent conditions for cricket as clear skies are forecasted for the entire course of the day. The temperature is expected to be hovering in the 32-26 degree Celsius range and the humidity at the peak is anticipated to be around the 20-24 percent range.
The strip is expected to be a very competitive one. As we have seen in the Indian Premier League, the pitch is not a high-scoring one but rather a competitive one. The team winning the toss should be looking to bowl first as the teams chasing have enjoyed more success at this venue.
There are no reports of injury from the Indian side. Their skipper- Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag will open the innings and the No.3 slot is certain to be occupied by Mohammad Kaif. The middle-order is expected to feature Naman Ojha, Yusuf Pathan, and Yuvraj Singh. Overall, the hosts look like a very well-balanced side.
Bangladesh on the other hand have a star-studded line-up as well. Nafees Iqbal looks certain to open the innings along with Javed Omar. The 49-year old Khalen Mahmud will lead the side.
