The ODI series seemed one-way traffic but the Men in Blue made sure the T20I series would not be the same. The visitors made a fitting comeback in the T20I series by defeating the Australians by 11 runs and taking a 1-0 lead in the series. The 2nd T20I is set to take place on Sunday at the Sydney Cricket ground, where the first 2 ODIs took place.
The Indians who lost both the games at SCG will be hoping they can carry on the winning momentum and wrap up the series in their favor. The 1st T20I saw the Aussies win the toss and chose to bowl first despite the venue having a high percentage of wins for the team batting first.
The Indians were rather shaky in the batting and one stage looked like 150 was a tough ask. But it was once again the star all-rounder who bailed the Men in Blue out by scoring a brisk 44 of 23 balls.
It was later reported that Jadeja would not be able to make the field as he was struck with a nasty bouncer by spearhead Mitchell Starc. The left-hander was given the advantage of the new concussion law, which allows a player to replace the player. A barrage of verbal shots was fired by the Aussie coach on the grant of Chahal to take the field, but it was made sure by the officials that everything was taking place according to the protocols.

Weather Report
The conditions seem ideal for cricket as a sunny, clear sky is expected throughout the day. The temperature is expected to hover in the 27-23 degree range and the humidity at the peak is expected to reach the 35% percent mark.
Pitch
The pitch as we saw in the ODIs is an ideal strip for batting. We saw both the teams score more than 300 runs in all four innings. It is once again expected to be a high-scoring thriller and the team winning the toss should be looking to bat first. Any score of more than 185 is likely to put the chasing team under pressure.
With the humidity on the lower side, the dew factor may not come into play in this encounter.
Team News
The Aussies would be feeling relieved as their spearhead Mitchell Starc was declared match fit for the 1st T20I and he showed glimpses of his true potential by claiming the prize wicket of Shikhar Dhawan. Said that Baggy Greens will still be without the services of David Warner, Marcus Stoinis, and Ashton Agar.
As per the latest reports, the injured Ashton Agar has been replaced by experienced off-spinner Nathon Lyon, and was also reported that middle order Cameron Green has been dropped from the T20I squad. The inclusion of Lyon means that Mitchell Swepson will have to make way for him.
On the other side, Team India has to deal with a huge setback as they will be missing out on their key all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja due to a hamstring injury he suffered during the 1st T20I. Though the Men in Blue will have not much to worry about the replacement as Yuzvendra Chahal, who came in as a concussion replacement for Jadeja showcased some brilliant bowling effort which earned him the Man of the Match and he is likely to replace the injured Jadeja for the 2nd T20I.
